SOO is officially over. Yeah fun!

DAY 1

I arrived rather early, at around 6.40. and we'r nt allowed in Ops rm yet, so we were loitering outside until 7. went into ops rm, went thru the ammendment booklet, and got our shirts!!! its like my 1st shirt i got since i entered hwachong. and this yr's sec1s really hav great luck, cos they'r gettin shirts too.

im buddy 2, so im stationed in KKH to wait for the sec1s and take down their shirt size. yeah 22 of them, and all are the small-sized ones -.- no qifa ppl r in my grp... and i got cheated lah. zongtai went to ri in the end... screw.

timlong n yuanzhi tried to stir up the sleepy sec1s to b enthu, but yeah they rather failed. tried the oi cheer and bombing, but nope its basically onli the buddies shouting.

led them to audi where some speeches will take place. omg mr tan is their level I/C. they'r gonna b so screwed man.

and for once, i "escaped" throu the front door of the audi when someone is speaking on stage... i nid to go to LT2 for diagnostic test briefing. yeah the teacher is like damn blur. so many mistakes in her paper! n ya tat makes it damn time consuming when we conduct the test, esp when we submitted both our namelists to the ops rm! so we started 9min late for the test. haiz.

munwai is srsly damn irritating. during the test hes like shooting rubber bands around and doing inappropriate stuff. argh.

after the test its icebreakers. did self intro and whacko onli. but durin self intro one sec1 was sick or sth n had to go to the toilet. he was crying. while he was in the toilet yuchuan came n so i informed him. i tink he kinda told mr tan or someone. they came ltr and like brought the guy away, cos some boarding school teacher called. he came back ltr. but i missed introduction. haiz...

cheers practice!!! yeah they'r gettin a bit more enthu now. :D yup taught them ke bah bah first n they'r following well. then its willow willow. they'r gettin quite good. then grp 16 come n challenge us. we wanted to challenge them first... guess liki talked to them too. okay our volume is quite balanced. n so last one is north-south-east-west. after tat we trained them up to more enthu-ness and then nat told them some stories before the seniors talk.

for seniors talk i wont elaborate much. but yeah the seniors talk until like the time almost overshot. so we chiong down to canteen for lunch, but in the process we lost some of the sec1s D: but anyway we managed to gather them in the end. they eat damn slow... yeah. so we were late for school song lesson at audi.

at audi we were called to ops room by OT. there, the seniors sat waiting for us... n yeah we got screwed by them, for not doing a good job. yeah we got damn inspired. wont elaborate, cos its quite scary :X

we did mass cheer in the audi after dr hon left. n actually we'r nt supposed to do so. haha. sec1s damn slack. lean on the chair while they cheer. haiz...

then its TBG1. i led my group to EP3 shed and yeah basically we did cheers for the whole thing -.- their cheers juz sucked. and we were like scolding them like shit. yeah they were rather shocked by wat we'r doin but well tats the onli way to drill the passion into them.

as they proceeded to the next station me n nat went to ops rm for mass games saikang. haha.

carried some trash bags to the tracks. then i started to drill cheers into the sec1s who r already there. yeah its been like half an hour. my voice is like erm... yeah. fisherman's friend helps alot!

i wont say anythin about mass games, which was water bombs, cos its still quite normal. onli, i got one bomb from a sec1 (i asked for it) and another big one on my back was from munwai (screw him. it wet my whole back!!)

went to logs room to get shirts for the sec1s. their sizes are all screwed up. haha.

brought the shirts up to class and did a quick debrief. then distributed the shirts. the sec1s in my group are srsly small sized. their shirts are like M, S, XS, and still got XXS! yeah but the orientation shirt onli got L, M and S so we hav to resort. wat we did, as nat suggested, was line them up from tall to short and give out accordingly. yeah they complained, but at least it settled all the problems. :D they were dismissed late, unfortunately.

went back to ops room for debrief. yeah seniors are rather happy now, although we can improve more. mr tan said tat some sec1s who were present or late were marked absent, and we hav to solve the prob in day 2. mr fong said tat we hav to stick to the time, as the sec1s were dismissed late. haha. n the seniors mentioned tat we shud giv somethin to the sec1s so they can remember us. they sae the 2nd last day of orientation has passed. we hav to treasure our time with them, and srsly drill them.

day 1 is over. i decided to give them some of my fisherman's friend cos i hav enough to giv to half of the sec1s in my group. for the rest, munwai will giv mentos (tats wat he said). i hav leg pain, but my voice is more or less okay. but no i nv sleep well, cos im still worried about the cheers... haiz...

argh. great. a new action plan juz came out and i hav to study it overnite. -.- quite alot of changes. feel screwed.

maybe i dun nid strepsils anymore, cos i got fisherman's friend lozenges. much cheaper, and i find it not bad :D

i wan go cycling again. i tout i can go today, but i woke up too late and yeah the schedule is rather pushed backward. n my father tried to fix one of the bikes, which was damn time consuming.

my phone goes haywire sometimes... n yeah i've been lookin thru 4 brochures i got at some roadshow in west coast plaza. its on samsung phones. F480, Pixon, Omnia and Innov8. yeah i find F480 the best for me, cos Innov8 is too much, Pixon is a waste of money, and Omnia's camera is juz a piece of extra function and i dun like windows mobile. but my father said i hav to wait till my current one totally spoils before i can get a new one. tat'll make it damn hard to transfer files and contacts. n i dun feel transferring them to the com will work. n now the joystick is often not working properly. lets c how long it can last...

my parents r making a fuss cos i hav to reach sch by 6.30 on friday. wats the big deal? yeah i hav to take a cab, so what about tat? am i still a 3 yr old? they always dun trust council. :'(

shud b feelin damn high now, but nope im nt. n i dunno why.

christmas is officially over.

n i really cant believe so many ppl got christmas presents. n loads of them. yeah. to me christmas is all about stayin in my study with facebook and msn. n loads of homework. ohwell. wats tis christmas about? i doubt i'll understand.

lol i got siyuan's msn at last. credits to ben chong. he told me last night. n yeah there'r 3 comin to hwachong for tis batch. siyuan, zongtai, and i dunno the last one. still tryin to find out.

n its great to hear from OS tat the freshmen will b jumbled up in SOO groupings tis time. last yr for our batch it was grouped according to alphebetical order, so its like all the Lim and Li and Lee etc are grouped together for my group... it sucks tat way. but now i cant confirm who i'll get in my group, cos its all random.

tokin about freshmen, its 2 MORE DAYS TO SOO!!! cheer!!! but man im kinda gettin a bit of a sore throat. maybe its from my mother, or yeah too little water intake. guess i'll recover, cos im nt feeling v bad after all. :D

BBQ at Puijeng's place ROCKED!!!

When i arrived some girls were screwing up the fire and playin with charcoal. smart. i chatted with the guys for a while, then went out to help out with the fire.

yeah the fire is like almost dead cos the girls were too busy playing with charcoal... n used up all of them and the starters too... i can hardly maintain the fire. and i fan until muscle cramp liao... -_-

Mrs Ng came to have a look, but she left early at around 9. n yah more supplies of charcoal and starters came, but haiz still cant light up the fire. then Puijeng's family came down to help.

we started having cooked food onli at like 10.30. haha. n gift exchange. i got a dome-shaped paper weight, n im nt really sure who its from. my rubik's cube keychain went to Aeres -.-

my father's like spam-calling me n forcing me to go home early. yeah i did, but its like a few min early onli... at tat time its like 11.30. haha. almost missed the last bus.

it was damn fun! n Jaye got pushed into the swimming pool by Qinnan i tink! yeah he went home early. anw he lives in the estate.

Went to jurong point yesterday.

dun feel like posting much. again. bought a polo tee at john little, and a t-shirt at bossini. n the econ rice at kopitiam is ex and sucky.

went to toys r us for the gift i nid to bring for today. yup n got a toy for my sis coz theres tis christmas party next tues for her. and got her a water bottle too.

i got tis automatic pencil thing at NTUC. some promotion or sth. find it quite nice, but nt cheap at all. 3 for $10.

argh nid to go to vivo later, most likely to activate starhub digital voice. then will go to Puijeng's house straight for the bbq. ohwell.

i dun feel good since last night. no not physically, but emotionally. haiz...

Washing of curtains and balcony today...

Helped to take the curtains down cos im tall -_- and its still quite tiring. wlao the curtains damn heavy siah.

Viola lesson today. i'll onli tok about tat, so its gonna b short. dun feel like posting anw.

did syf pieces. dr yeo didnt want to start on something bombastic, so we did the last piece first. half of it. n got the quavers done and changing of bow and higher positions done etc. quite alot of improvement. but tats when i play v slow -_-

nth much to say thou. dr yeo got a nokia e71 as a replacement for his old palm phone. i'd prefer the palm one.

met zuowei on the way back home. he gonna play table tennis at his sch. he changed abit - almost cant recognise him.

cycled all the way to west coast park. my bike is like kinda too small for me now. got it like in p3. haha damn tiring when the seat's too low.

west coast park changed quite a lot. the seaside was renovated into a bicycle track. nicer than like 4 yrs ago :D the rest of the park havent change alot, other than some new facilities

Wilson and Kai Shin wandering around for some crap i dunno. n yup, back to Aaron, tryin to give away his fries, dunno stained with gun powder or what (jkjk) which keeps him from eating it.

yeah first experience of first stand in my whole orch life!!! n i tink i perform slightly better there. weird. its onli for like 30 odd minutes, but the experience is rather enough for now, with chan's hands waving there and, who noes, may juz smack u in the face or sth

well, improved alot today! n i gave my lesson timeslot to Terre for brandenburg. haha. i'll hav it on friday, for syf pieces.

at tat time i juz transfer to viola from bass for about a month or so if im nt wrong. but at least i can play some of tchaikovsky serenade. mug like siao man, if nt then practising how to fake. wats next? they inform me tat im nt performing. all mugging wasted. cheated man.

no choice. actually tis time at least i get to play syf pieces. a bit of achievement.

SYF next yr april. n we'r gettin lots of pressure. maybe i shud consult dr yeo about the pieces. but then concert is next sunday and i doubt im getting any lessons before that. work out myself? consult seniors n alumni? sad...

still got piano. grade 7 next feb. n i tink im lackin practice and quite behind schedule for aural test mugging. screwed.

more academic pressure next yr. i guess we'r gettin basic malay or sth like tat. n i cant believe i actually choose to take LEP. its part of my MSG man...

It has been like one n a half months since i last posted. firstly cos i went back to china, and the moment i came back i went for HCISO-NYSE Camp. Now its like barely 3h since i reached home.

srsly, gotta recover this blog. its obviously damn freaking dead.

u noe, i juz realised tat my 1O classmates (or the 2009 2I4) is not at all interested in blogs. we hav like 4class blogs and all are freaking dead. some dun even hav tagboards. n hardly anyone has their own blog (its either they dun bother to create or dunno how to create). u c, they dun even bother to tag on those class blogs which are once half alive (lookin on the bright side), let alone this blog. its all HCISO ppl, other consortium mates, or Qifa 6E'07 ppl. haiz... all they can do is spam the egroup, which is so irritating with the message feeds.

ok no offence.

china was fun (duh). but still quite slack. i nv touch any hw... viola i tink i touched like 5+ times, but u noe, i wake up damn late n can onli practise after breakfast, which is the time when my grandfather nids to watch tv. so i can onli play pizzicato, which is "so effective". onli managed to really use my bow a few times. n yeah, i bought a bow in china, together with tuner. cool. at least no bow hair and tension probs.

argh i miss the china tv. the tv shows damn nice. i watch everyday, n guess what, i grew like 2-3kg... gotta start exercising. my skin grew whiter than before. i guess i still like it darker.

ok enough of china, cos its never gonna end.

HCISO-NYSE Camp!!! i love it!

quite sad i missed the first day. but at least i missed all those icebreaking games, which are said to b real boring and useless. yeah true i barely noe any girls from nyse but according to the names on the board i somehow managed to figure out myself the names of most of the nyse teammates. gd to noe them. maybe i shud hav gotten their msn or sth. they real pro in their instruments, n i mean it. interacting with them may actually increase my viola skills, for all i noe, althou they'r nt from viola section. n they're quite nice ppl. gd to noe them. hmm... searching for their blog or facebook may b possible. expand my friends network, u noe.

games r fun, esp the night games. but juz a bit unfair still. i missed the first night game. ppl sae v complicated, but sounds nice. water bomb, haiz, i nv had the chance to srsly tio water bombs, cos i defender in tat game. n the onli one i tio was the one zhaohong tricked me into at the end of the game when we were having a free-for-all fight. zhaohong damn genius man, throw at my pants n nt the shirt...

i guess its the end of the story. for now.
