Yay e-learning for week 1!!! :D :D E LEARNING FTW!!!!!

I'll have to leave for school soon. CCA is as per normal for orch, cos concert is coming up. And I didn't really practise - was chionging hw. Gahhh. Mr Chan's gonna kill. I need assisstance from Dr Yeo mabye. Haha. Hope I can resume my lessons soon. I think I only had like 3 lessons this year due to SYF.

And yea concert coming up, and I have to sell tickets again. And I'm in a very disadvantaged state cos I only have about 3 weeks, while the rest had like 3 times more time? Anyway, details:

SLC!!! SLC??? SLC...

At first this is exactly how I responded. It's like "YAY, Its SLC!!!" then "Huh? This is SLC???" and finally "Oh, this IS SLC...". Actually I was quite surprised by what it was, cos it's no different from our school orientation and camps, etc. But actually it was only orientation day. Heh.

Okay it was like those normal things you see when you go for some major event: registration, speech, briefing. Then I went off for SMO (Okay DON'T TALK ABOUT SMO COS IT WAS OBVIOUSLY A MAJOR SCREWUP). And during these 3 hrs +, the people were having icebreaking and orientation games 1. and yea, so when I met up with the rest they just like daoed me, cos they don't really know who I am. But some people are quite proactive, like this Ryan guy came up to me and shook hands, like "Hi, Ryan, from North Vista." But yea, initially I don't really like the people in my faculty frankly, but I don't really care. Am I that despo? I'll say no. But anyway I slowly changed my opinions.

The afternoon games were actually rather boring. Cos they are not exactly challenging. No much fun. But actually I discovered what my faculty mates are really like, and good gracious they are better than I thought. But then the guys are sick, and the girls doesn't seem at all bothered by it. And the most sickening part is that a HWA CHONG COUNCILLOR in my faculty is singing sick songs along with another sick guy. Extremely loud. And really. It's damn disgraceful.

Hopefully tomorrow will be down to the serious stuff, cos I can't stand a Student Leaders Convention with sick people blasting sick songs in your ears. It's like, what sort of a convention is this, with all these nonsense?

Well yea I'm making it sound as if SLC is a total failure, but no, it's the people attending it that makes it seem like crap. The OT (Gary! MASTER Andre! Nat! Bernard! Kay Hian! Mun Wai!) is damn efficient and facilitators were great (Shun Xiang esp! And for my Youth council I know that the rest are Crystal and Ryo, whom led us in the convo for the last 20min or so with Shun Xiang for our Grand Finale)! Thanks to them in advance, cos obviously I can't get the time to post directly after last day of SLC.

I hope I can bring my laptop tomorrow for discussions and meetings. Preparing now. I just hell hope that no one actually craps bullshit tomorrow.

Okay. Let's talk about Saturday's EOTA :D

My parents actually let me go!!! And yea it was a looong journey. My parents got me to Jurong East thru taxi cos they have to go too, and I took to Outram park, then up to Kovan on NEL. And NEL is damn retarded. They blast the announcements and they are damn extra. And the display, like when they announce "Doors are Closing" then start beeping, the display will have this scolling text "please keep clear of doors", which takes forever to appear. And its like the door already closed for abt 2 seconds before the word "door" appears. Defeats the purpose doesnt it?

Yup, at SuperBowl, now known as Super(Screwed)Bowl to us, cos my lane keep screwing up. Some people get 1 turn only and the next person gets 3! And you can get 11 pins hit down! Heh. But Wai Lun is like "at LEAST we got a place to bowl, esp when Westwood Bowl doesnt even pick up the phone..." and ownage is that Yong Jian, whos in our lane, got his ball to the next lane like 3 times. And sometimes the gate actually screws up, like it doesnt close. We called the guy at the counter here, and he actually went to press the bell, which was for us to call HIM! retarded. And I seriously wonder why Weiyu say the bowling centre is NEW. Or maybe its another one she's talking about. Hmm...

Then like Kai Sherng forgot to collect his EZ Link at the counter when he left, and the guy returned to it us after payment. Then I tried to call Kai Sherng, or KHOR Kai Sherng (see the joke here? We were talking about it for like 20min haha), and apparently he is at MACDONALDS. Ask him to check his wallet, he say happily "Yep, it's with me!" I almost wanted to go home using his EZ Link. But yea went all the way to Heartland Mall, and found him. Took him quite a while to realise what was going on, and it was only until we told him to pay for his meal with his EZ Link then he realised the whole problem. Well. And yea Wei Dong received quite some entertainment. Haha

Oh, and I dropped off at Serangoon to experience the circle line! Took one stop to Lorong Chuan, before taking it back to Serangoon again. And I like it more than NEL! It was more cool. Yup.

Alright, now about yesterday's interview...

Rushed to Kai Sherng's home at like 4.45 yesterday for interview. It was DAMN impromptu. Like he told me so once I reached home after Science lesson, and I left 45 min later... Well same route as going to Kovan, only that I transfer to circle line, again. Haha.

And yes Andika called me at about 5.20, and he sounded like he's still at home. So when I arrived at Lorong Chuan, I almost told Kai Sherng on the phone that Andika will most likely be late, when he told me "Me and Andika will go get you." I was like WHATTT. Then u know what, his father drove him there =.= seriously niaoed.

Yup Kai Sherng's piano is quite screwed, cos the screwed keys are the most crutial ones ultimately... And Kai Sherng's PC seemed more screwed. Cos it really lags like dunno what. Well, the dinner was nice. haha. Thx Kai! And his father gave us a description of the cochlear implant, which was quite beneficial :D

Kai Sherng's father drove us to the doctor's house, and guess what, 10min into the interview, the camera just ran out of power! Argh. Felt damn paiseh, as Kai Sherng and his father drove to his uncle's house to get another camera. Really. And it's a doctor. Professor. Dragged until 2hr when it should have been 45 min. And yup, because of this I went home damn late, at 11.30. And my parents screwed me, cos obviously my explanation didn't work. If I was to tell them that "Eh, professor leh, very hard to meet one leh." He would be like "Who say, you meet one every single day." It was damn lame. So I don't really bother saying this excuse.

And yup I got niaoed again on the way back when Andika's parents called, saying that they will pick him up at Harbourfront MRT... I have to go home MYSELF and catch the last 96 at Clementi Interchange. Thank God I made it in time...
